What is BSc Zoology?

BSc Zoology or Bachelor of Science in Zoology is a 3-Year (6 Semesters) under-graduate course which deals with the study of Animal Biology. This course focuses on the form, function, and behavior of animals and explains their general biological principles.

The Core subjects you have to study in BSc Zoology are Animal Diversity: Non-Chordata, Animal Diversity: Chordata, Physiology and Endocrinology, Reproductive and Developmental Biology, Ethology, Evolution and Zoogeography, Cell Biology and Genetics, Biotechnology, Microbiology and Immunology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, etc.

A BSc Zoology graduate can find Job opportunities in various kinds of fields, a good understanding of animals and their ecosystem one can work in Agricultural Farm, Medical Laboratories, Environmental Agencies, Pharmaceutical Companies in both Government and Private Sectors.

The Higher education you can opt after completing BSc Zoology are Master of Science in Zoology, Master of Science in Applied Zoology, Master of Science in Zoology (Honors), MSc Environmental Management, Master of Philosophy in Zoology, Master of Philosophy in Life Science, Doctor of Philosophy in Zoology, Post Graduate Diploma in Life Science Or can go for an MBA.

About Project Work
