What is BA Sociology?

BA Sociology or Bachelor of Arts in Sociology is a 3-Year (6 Semesters) under-graduate Course in which you would study all the basic concept of Sociology. BA Sociology is the study of culture, social relation, social interactions, social challenges which broadly covers the various psychological aspects of human being.

The Core topics that you have study when opting BA Sociology are Social Psychology, Population Studies, Political Sociology, Sociological Theories, Social Anthropology, Social Stratification and Inequalities, Sociology of Rural and Urban Societies and much more.

A BA Sociology graduate can find wide variety of Job opportunities in both public and private sectors, Some of the Job titles you can go for such as Human Resource Manager, Public Relation Specialist, Sociologist, Family Counsellor, Market Survey Researcher, Training Advisor, Social Researcher, Welfare Rights Advisor, Lecturer, Community Service Worker, Teacher, Census Worker, etc. and also you can find jobs in fields like Media, Law, Hospitals, Criminal Justice.
